Adam has been a long time Cartek Customer from Long Island NY. Adam’s car first started out as a track car. His car was an automatic car and was later converted to a 6spd. The car’s factory color was Black and was later painted Tangelo Peal. Adam has had many different engine/trans combinations used over the last 10 years working with us at Cartek.
Adam’s car started as a Heads and Cam automatic. His car was the 1st car in the country to run into the 10s with this combination. Adam had a 2X cam with a high stall converter and a TCI transmission controller that shifted the gears. Adam’s goal was to get the car into the 10s and be on the cover of a magazine. Adam’s car was featured on Corvette Enthusiast Magazine’s cover page in the May 2006 issue, and is known as the “orange Crush”.
In 2006 Adam wanted more power out of his car for the street. The car was converted to a 6spd for this purpose. We at Cartek Forged his 346 and installed a twin turbo system by APS. The APS kit was modified to achieve the high boost levels that Adam wanted. The car has an AMS-1000 Boost controller to keep the turbos under control and We have speed density tuned the car for great drivability. We recently upgraded the turbos in the car for MORE POWER…. Adam says “ENOUGH IS NEVER ENOUGH”
